Queers Dig Time Lords (Reposted from IBW)

This is a repost of an article that appeared on IBW Publications yesterday, but I felt as though this audience deserved the insite as well into this fantastic book.

In the nearly 7 years that Itty Bitty Writer Publications and the 11 years C. W. Buechler Online have been a major part of our life we have had some interesting opportunities presented to us, none more so than the opportunity to review the upcoming addition to the _________ Dig Time Lords series of anthologies that explore what Doctor Who means to whatever the “Blank” is.  In this case we were honored to review “Queers Dig Timelords.” Continue reading

Status of C W Buechler Online

sq13.jpgWe just wanted to let everyone know what is up with IBW and CWBuechler Online.  Essentially we are swamped with numerous Paying Job stresses and non-paying job stresses and as such we are posting the bare minimum to keep the site up and running.  We hope that after the corporate office moves of IBW, the successful conclusion of many work-a-day projects to pay the bills, and a few other concerns that are occupying 110% of our time we can return to our normal posting schedule. Sneak Peek: Dream Factory Prologue

Dream_Factory_The_Nightmare_AffairPrologue:

This is the story of a girl and her father, rather unremarkable in many senses.  The girl, who’s name is Holly is like every other twelve year old girl, she worries about friends, what cloths she is wearing and if that cute boy down the street was ever going to notice her.  For the record he might in a few years after he discovers that his time is better spent chasing girls then laughing at fart jokes and digging holes in his father’s otherwise meticulously groomed backyard. Prison Break

imagesGarrand Foster was a man who looked beat by the system.  He was nearly sixty years old, and enjoyed a full head of hair; although most days now he spent his time pulling it out in thick clumps out of frustration.  He had been the warden at Saint Ive’s Island Maximum security prison for over twenty years, and had enjoyed a very quiet existence within the United Stated Penal Code enforcement agency for his entire tenure.  This was a very good thing for a man twenty –pounds overweight and prone to heart disease.  Being transported from the dock to the gates of the prison by one of his guards the Warden dreaded going into his office, just as he had for the past six months. Short Story – Prison Break

 imagesConfessions of a killer

I suppose I deserved to be here, but there are better reasons for my current living situation then the one I was convicted of.    My name is Cerius Brown and I have the pleasure of six by eight feet of state provided living accommodations.  The only requirement is that I am not allowed to leave, ever again.  I am not exactly restricted from interacting with the others in my cell block, I have access to a number of fellow inmates, but I am not allowed outside the confines of the prison, not even to the exercise yard.  But I digress because I am skipping ahead, I feel like I need to explain what brought me to the maximum security wing of St. Ive’s Island State Penitentiary. Chapter 26: History fights back

Angela prepared herself for the upcoming transmission to her own time zone. She was sure they already knew what had happened. It was written in their history books. She had managed to change nothing; her presence was the one that was spoken of in hushed tones. The mysterious assassin at the front steps of the council building, the destruction of the Gharphie embassy, she could not create the temporal paradox that her masters had wished she could. Chapter 24: Clean up is a bitch
Bruce was sitting in a holding cell, he could not recall why he was supposed to be at the police station, but figured it was because he couldn’t make sense of Angela’s military theory. He had managed to assault an officer while pretending to be drunk, this allowed him access to the police station, but again he couldn’t understand why. “I need Angela to explain it all for me again, it makes sense coming from her” he thought to himself. Chapter 23: Things left best alone

Ethan mounted the stairs of the dormitory and climbed them to the third floor where his room was. Walking down the hallway the cadet deftly avoided a soccer ball being kicked around by two of his floor mates. The ball soared only inches from the cadets head and slammed into an exit sign mounted on the ceiling. Several other cadets had put together a make shift putting green a little further down the hall from the soccer players, a twelve ounce plastic glass served as a hole, and by the looks of it a make shift ball wash, while several cadets worked on their short game.
