We have been cleaning up some store issues at Amazon, B&N, Kobo and iBooks. These include things like unifying the author name to Collin Buechler or Collin W. Buechler so we are easier to find on the stores. Also making certain that covers are all correct and that there are no gaps in availability at each bookstore. We have also been working to make pricing uniform across all platforms. With the exception of Skulls for $1.99 on NOOK we are uniform on the pricing of all eBooks. I have been dividing my creative time between two projects. One of course is Dream Factory – The Nightmare Affair; which I am happy to report is nearing the completion of its first draft. The second is a picture book about Monsters, its working title is “What I don’t know about Monsters” and is being composed and illustrated completely on my iPad. This is an exercise in both creativity and proving that these little wunderkind of the tech world can be used for creative purposes.
Using Pages on the iPad for text and layout is pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. The illustrations are the item I am most proud of. While I admit I am not the greatest artist, and the book might would be better served by an actual professional I really wanted to give it a go. After the break are three sample pages from the book for your enjoyment.

Today we take a look at Who’s 50: The 50 Doctor Who Stories to Watch Before you Die by Graeme Burk and Robert Smith?. This book examines the 50 top stories of Doctor Who that one must see before they die, and while for a life long fan of the show it was hard pressed to tell me to watch something I hadn’t already seen a hundred times; I can clearly respect that I am now an outlier in current Doctor Who fandom; and for the young fan, new to the show, possibly overwhelmed by the vast expanse of the shows history it can be a little daunting to go it alone. That’s where this compendium comes in handy. Continue reading “Who’s 50: The 50 Doctor Who Stories to Watch Before you Die”
Dream Factory: The Nightmare Affair
Being a 12 year old girl is hard enough without having to worry about starting a new school, in a new city without any friends; but Holly Grant has to also cope with the stigma of her father’s fame as world renowned horror author William Grant. Continue reading “Dream Factory Pitch”
This is a repost of an article that appeared on IBW Publications yesterday, but I felt as though this audience deserved the insite as well into this fantastic book.
In the nearly 7 years that Itty Bitty Writer Publications and the 11 years C. W. Buechler Online have been a major part of our life we have had some interesting opportunities presented to us, none more so than the opportunity to review the upcoming addition to the _________ Dig Time Lords series of anthologies that explore what Doctor Who means to whatever the “Blank” is. In this case we were honored to review “Queers Dig Timelords.” Continue reading “Queers Dig Time Lords (Reposted from IBW)”
We just wanted to let everyone know what is up with IBW and CWBuechler Online. Essentially we are swamped with numerous Paying Job stresses and non-paying job stresses and as such we are posting the bare minimum to keep the site up and running. We hope that after the corporate office moves of IBW, the successful conclusion of many work-a-day projects to pay the bills, and a few other concerns that are occupying 110% of our time we can return to our normal posting schedule.
